David's last day before deployment & Happy New Year!!

Well David has officially deployed. He went and met his boat Tuesday, and is now in Spain with the boat. He has no texting capabilities, and the minutes are $1.69 a minute, so phone conversations are a negatory. He does however get internet access from his phone, and so he has been able to log into yahoo and chat with me. He is currently 6 hours ahead of me, so David is in 2010, while us Americans are still writing 09. He won't be in Spain much longer, and then its back into the water for them. I miss him so incredible much. But we got lucky with this deployment. He is meeting them after they have already been out, so he won't be as long as he could have been. He will be home in time for the baby. I am not allowed to disclose exact dates or whereabouts for him, so I am sorry to be so vague.

Our last picture together

Our final moment together :(

So here I am being all alone and sad without my mate. But because I have an amazing friend in Tina, she forced my butt out of the house today. She even drove me around bc it started snowing again. We all know how I drive in TX weather, now take a moment to imagine me in snow. Yes, you can laugh. So we went out and hit all the Xmas Clearances for ornaments, bc David and I don't really have a lot. While at Target, I found these adorable sweaters for Teddy for 50 cents!

He is sweet to Mommy :)

I love this one the most! Hehe

Tonight I will be going over to Tina's for her New Year's Eve party. Her 1 year old daughter, Zoe, is going to be my NYE kiss :)

Well I need to straighten my hair so I can take some more pictures. I do have a lot of pictures to upload, and a Christmas video to make. Now that I have a lot of time on my hands, look forward to that soon.

In the meantime, keep David in your prayers, and we wish everyone a safe and Happy New Year! 2010 will definitely be bringing us joy, and we wish it to all of you too!

  1. Hi Sweetheart,
We miss you so much. I can tell you have been crying.( mommy always knows )... We enjoy your little teddy movies so much, maybe you should seek out a postion in crime scence photo's with NCIS. You seem to have your grandfathers natural abilities behind a camera and with productions. It would be great if you could have the baby here, but if you can't, your mother will atleast will be able to drive up there, as for myself (dad) it is to soon for me to be able to plan to come. Ask me again in May by then I will know when I will start working again.
love much mommy and daddy and don't forget christina.
